TANGO
Collective Photoshoot Collection
Shining reflections of moments, memories, history, and a dance of tango.
Reflection, as one of the eye-catching qualities in Iranian mirrorwork, has shed light on our strategy.
At mirroRE (Mirror Reflection Reimaging), rooted in a partnership-driven strategy, our hands are ready to tango with skilled hands and any other initiatives to reflect the future of interiors by crafting a profound sense of presence, inherently embedded in craft and art.
Accordingly, the Tango Collective Photoshoot Collection Embodies a choreography of light and material, able to inhabit everyday life, reflecting Iranian mirrorwork crafted by mirroRE, dancing with creations by skilled and imaginative designers.
This collection features the following designers and studios: Studio Beeks, atelieroscargreve, Studio Lotte Schoots, Studio Mehdi Mashayekhi, goofmosmansstudio, Hanna Kerkhof, and studiobhatt. Their works are presented here alongside descriptions of their designs and the context of their collections.
Designer Hanna Kerkhof is working on the project 77 Teacups, ranging from the elegant classic teacup to the modern giant mug and everything in between, reflecting contemporary tea habits. The teacup shown here is named ‘Alignment’, one of the meanings of 77, symbolizing the magic that can arise during tea drinking. Drinking tea together, surrounded by small rituals, invites conversation, listening to each other, and connection, something we desperately need in these times.
Eline Groeneweg-Bhatt (Studio Bhatt) is a Dutch textile designer based in India, focusing on handmade, limited-edition textiles for interior spaces. Goof Mosmans
My name is Goof and I am 25 years old. Shortly after completing my degree in Industrial Product Design, I registered my name as a business and began doing what I love most: designing unique and finely made products. My designs are characterized by bold colors and the use of robust materials, such as aluminum and stainless steel. I strive to develop products that last for many years and certainly don’t end up on the “fast furniture” pile. In 2024, I opened my studio in the center of Utrecht, where I have a workshop to handcraft and refine my products.

Mehdi Mashayekhi Studio, with a background in both chemistry and design, blends traditional craftsmanship with experimental processes, pushing the boundaries of material applications. His sculptural installations and collectible design objects investigate the tension between permanence and transformation, between precise control and the organic unpredictability of natural processes.
Choub (Farsi for wood) collection reflects immigrant’s migration journey, exploring adaptation without losing one’s core identity. Migration demands new relationships and adjustments, yet values and cultural roots remain intact. Through wood—a rigid, unconventional material for garments—Mehdi symbolizes the migrant’s integration process. Just as he reshapes wood while preserving its essence, migrants adapt while maintaining their identity. This work blends art, technology, and craftsmanship, challenging perceptions of materiality and belonging.
